In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
The Radio has a really welcoming jingle, which stands out well and is funny and different, it then has a continued tune behind the talking so it does not get boring listening to them as they speak. It then introduces a clip and plays the clip; the clip is a comedy clip and tries to make the audience laugh. After the clip has ended there is a quick goodbye from the presenter and an exiting jingle.
How does your media product represent particular social groups?
My Radio represents young people who like joking and listening to funny random things like Pirates etc.It does this by making silly jokes and having a fast upbeat tune. The younger people will like it more than the older generation of people because the old folk will not be able to keep up with it.
What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
The product may be broadcasted to young teenagers who need cheering up. It would be on the radio after school time to make them get out of the boring school feeling.
Who would be the audience for your media product?
The audience for my radio is Mr. Winn and teenagers, I wanted it to be funny for Mr. Winn and the teenagers and upbeat and different and original.
How did you attract/address your audience?
I used a fast, fun, different, original, pirate like, dance jingle at the start of the show to make them want to listen more.
What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
I learnt how to use garageband, mixing tracks, and recording. I made some of my own tunes then mixed them with sample tunes then added recordings over to make a fun soundtrack radio.
